Although I cannot prove it, I suspect one-quarter of Hong Kong people all from there, where we can trace our lineage. Apparently we came from the central area of China a 1000 years ago near the coast and migrated down there.
Now the interesting part is this.
We just speak own dialects here with each other in Toronto. How can we beat that.

I still remember that time I took a trip to Brazil. Just standing there on the street corner in San Paolo Chinatown, and all of the sudden this old guy yapping away loudly in our dialect with his friend.
We literally are everywhere.
