There is a reason authoritarion rule works better in China at this moment versus complete chaos. There is a reason for the term "Chinese Fire Drill".   Not saying that Chinese in gegeral are like that.  Tradtional Chinese chilvary still exists within China and definitely within the Chinese disapora.

And China sucks at soft power because they have stiff engineer types trying to do soft power.  They need to allow creative and artistic people into power to help craft soft power strategies.  

I was right about China's wolf diplomacy.  It was cringe worthy and sending the wrong signals.  Now they shelved it.
