Post ReplyForum Canis Majoris 12/03/2023, 16:31:52 Author Profile | Edit I had always assumed the Chinese military was secretly developing two AAMs, one smaller than PL-15 that would carriage of 3 + 3 missiles inside the J-20's twin bays, and one larger than PL-15 that would keep the loadout at 2 + 2 but would fully fill out the bays and give J-20 a longer reach than PL-15.
