I do hope China will consolidate its automotive industry and merge the players. There are just too many players in China. I also think it is wiser if they choose to build EV assembly plants in Europe and America if possible to sell cars there. Exporting from China will invite tariffs and protectionism. Learn from Japan. China should also focus on emerging market like Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa. To do that, China need to help them build the infrastructure like charging stations. Chinese companies should invest and work with local partners to build charging stations. It could be a profitable business too.

I saw a pushback in the US market against EV because of lack of charging stations. This is not good.
