China has 1.4 billon people...sure one can find hungry people; As I said meat consumption/cap/yr in China reached 70 kg and that's a decent amount.

Chinese grain production is twice that of hindustan but china is a very big importer of (fodder) crops while the hindus take pride in being a major grain exporter.
