last year. The Nvidia GPU A100 is not only used in graphics, but also used in AI and other high performance applications, it cost $10,000 per unit. Now Huawei's GPU has performance on par with A100, and this speaker's company is using it in their AI application. By Oct 24 this year, they will match ChatGPT in capability. By first half next year, they will catch up with GPT-4. Besides Huawei, China has other GPU makers, together they really have the US to thank for handing Nvidia's market over to them. I'm sure the Chinese GPU makers will bring down the cost of such GPU significantly.
